Here's a little map of our route. The stars are where we're stopping overnight.
We're really excited to see the big sights, like Alcatraz and the Golden Gate bridge, but we've got a lot of ground to cover. So, I'd love to know - what are your 'must see' sights (oh and 'must eats' too) of the California coast?
We'd love some advice!

I took this exact drive 6 years ago, it's AMAZING. The best part of the drive for me was from San Fransisco to Santa Cruz, so give yourself time to make stops and enjoy the view. We also hit Hearst Castle in San Simeon, it was a great spot for views and history. Have fun!!!
