I decided to make some muffins for Nick because he usually has to grab breakfast on the run. Hey, that's what happens when you have to wake up at 4:30am.
I used this recipe and subbed in almonds (because I didn't have pecans on hand - and really who doesn't love almonds?) They're not super healthy, but at least they have oats and nuts.
The basic flavour profile is made up of oats, almonds and maple syrup.
I wish I could bottle the smell that these babies created. It made the whole house smell incredible. Eat up! Breakfast is the most important meal of the day, after all.
