Food Trending

I'm all for new and healthy foods. Especially if they promise to pack some delicious flavour.

A few foods that I like, but not nearly as much as the general Pinterest population does:
  • Quinoa
  • Sweet potato/yam
  • Kale
  • Avocado (only in the form of guacamole) 
How many quinoa salads can one person stand to eat?! And one big mouthful of avocado and I might barf (almost happened once with avocado sushi).

I tried making this quinoa mac and cheese. Although it tasted ok, it was verrrry far from actual mac and cheese (more like rice and cheese sauce). Just one example of people trying to turn comfort food into something healthy that didn't work.

I'm taking a stand against trendy health-foods!

Ps. Here's one healthy food that I love: apples. I eat one every day and thus I am keeping the doctor away.
