James Street Super Crawl

For my dad's birthday this year, he wanted to do something as a family (in place of giving him gifts). So off we went to the James St. Super Crawl. Normally there's a 'regular' Art Crawl that happens on weekends, but the Super Crawl not only involves local art galleries, but also has vendors, food trucks and music.

It was a great way to explore an area of Hamilton that I don't normally go to. After checking out some art, street performers and shops, we stopped off for a pitcher of sangria at a Portuguese restaurant called Wild Orchid. Then we took a walk down to the bay front, which really makes you realize there's a lot more to Hamilton that just steel. We capped the day off with dinner at The Harbour Diner (review post coming soon).

How was your weekend?
